Awards

Criteria for the awards is listed below for reference:

 

YOUNG RESEARCHER SCHOLARSHIP

A research award (three awards, each with a maximum value of EUR 5,000) to provide protected time or other support in the conduct of a research study in primary care gastroenterology

  • The research grant is a personal scholarship
  • Applicants must be a registrar in family medicine or a licensed GP
  • Aged below 40 years of age
  • Applicants should present a short research plan not more than two A4 pages, including the name of a senior supervisor. Part funding for existing projects will not be allowed
  • The successful applicant will be required to write a report of 1,000 ̶1,200 words for the first issue of Eurodigest in 2016.

 

YOUNG RESEARCHER TRAVEL AWARDS

To support attendance and presentation of research in primary care gastroenterology (poster or oral) at UEGW .

Travelling grant (up to five awards, maximum value of EUR 1,000 each)

  • The research grant is a personal scholarship
  • Applicants must be a registrar in family medicine or a licensed GP
  • Aged below 40 years of age
  • Funding will be made available to successful applicants when an abstract has been accepted at the next UEGW.
  • The successful applicant(s) will be required to write  a report of 1,000 ̶1,200 words for the first issue of Eurodigest in 2016
