Aims

Promote Gastroenterology update and management among primary care doctors.

Promote research of gastroenterology in primary care.

Relationship with the Associations of Specialist of Gastroenterology at both Catalan and Spanish levels.

Planned activities

Participation at the CAMFiC annual meeting with an updating on gastroenterology for primary care.

Several training courses in Catalonia for primary care physicians on management of Gastroenterological problems.

On-line course on GORD to be launched in late 2013 available for all Spanish GPs

Active participation as Spanish coordinating group at the OPTICARE-HP EU project on behalf of ESPCG
